Allison is a missionary with the Xingu Mission in Brazil. Her testimony follows:
I have felt called to become a missionary since I was young. I have always felt a strong desire to be apart of spreading the Gospel worldwide. About 10 years ago, God started speaking to me about moving to Brazil. Three years ago, I went on a short term trip to Altamira, and I immediately fell in love. The culture and the people pulled on my heart, and I knew with greater certainty that I would one day make Brazil my home. It has been a long journey, but I am confident that it is now time to make that calling a reality.
My hope is to use my skills and knowledge to help support the Xingu Mission as they grow and train disciples and leaders for church planting. I have almost completed the 2 year ministry program at the Vineyard Leadership Institute. I also have experience in recovery ministries as well as teaching and small group leadership. I believe I have a lot to offer the Brazilian people, and I know that they have a lot to offer me. I look forward to learning from them and growing in Christ with them!
