Discovery Discipleship Series

The Vineyard Tuttle Crossing offers a series of classes to acquaint you with the Vineyard Tuttle Crossing, as well as offer insights into following Jesus and learning more about how you can become more connected. The step-by-step series, which is detailed below, will help you in your journey to become an active follower of Jesus.

Discovering the Vineyard — V101
Discovering the Vineyard was designed to clearly explain what Vineyard Tuttle Crossing ("VTC") is all about, in particular our mission, vision and values. This discovery class is the basic introduction to Christ and VTC and also serves as our membership class. "The things you have heard me say in the presence of many vitnesses entrust to reliable men who will be able to teach others" 2 Timothy 2:2

Discovering the Habits of Spiritual Growth — V201
We focus on five personal habits identified with spiritual growth. Each habit will help you grow to spiritual maturity. “A discipline is something you do in your power, so you will be made able to do something not within your power.” Dallas Willard. This discovery class will equip you with the skills you need to begin these habits and explain the tools you need to continue these habits.

Discovering Your Ministry — V301
At VTC, we place a tremendous value on every person in the congregation being part of the ministry of God’s church. “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms” 1 Peter 4:10. God made each of us as individuals, with our own gifts, desires, passions, likes and dislikes. Maybe you love to fix old cars, maybe you’re a hair stylist, maybe you’re sick of watching reality shows all evening. Here’s the good news: You’ve got something to offer to the kingdom of God. Discover how God made you, and ways to use your gifts, time or talents at VTC. You’ll discover Jesus, discover yourself, and discover community as you discover your ministry and plug in at VTC.

Discovering Your Life Mission — V401
This class puts you on the journey of discovering your life mission while offering training and tools you’ll need to share your faith in Christ with confidence. You’ll learn what it means to have a life mission that is based on the mission of Jesus Christ. Come see how simple it is to impact this world for Christ “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

For a schedule of our next classes, please view our monthly calendar of events or send a quick email to staff@vineyardtc.org. We'll also make announcements during our Sunday celebrations about when the next classes begin.

Alpha

Alpha is a place for spiritual explorers on a quest, looking for their true north, a reference point from which they can measure their own life experiences and opinions. It is a safe place to ask questions about faith, life and God. It's perfect for people who are looking for answers. It’s an informal atmosphere where God can be questioned and experienced, where Christ’s claims are investigated, His work examined and His presence felt. Each week we explore commonly asked questions like “Who is Jesus?”, “Why did he die?”, “How can I be sure of my faith?” We share a meal together and explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith.

These classes are highly interactive with lots of lively discussion! Twice a year, we offer a ten-week program with meetings held once a week. For our next scheduled series, please view our monthly calendar of events or send a quick email to staff@vineyardtc.org. You may also register by using the convenient registration form located in the church lobby or in our Sunday program.
